And they have formed a partnership with the luggage manufacturer, which can carry the frame and wheels of their £10,000 Pinarello Dogma F10.

Douchebags are a Norwegian company who usually develop ski luggage - but they obviously have an unfortunate name.

The term is used offensively, especially in North America, where it is slang for calling someone an idiot.

According to the dictionary, a 'douchebag' is defined as: "A small syringe for douching the vagina, especially as a contraceptive measure."

But as Urban Dictionary quite clearly points out, a douchebag is: "Someone who has surpassed the levels of jerk and a**hole, however not yet reached f****r or motherf****r."

The bags also have the same initials as Team Sky principal Dave Brailsford

The company's logo also has 'DB' prominently on the side of its products and fans have been quick to point out that they share the same initials as team principal Dave Brailsford.

Brailsford and other current and former Team Sky staff have had to face awkward questions over the 'jiffy gate' saga.

Former British Cycling and Sky staff member Simon Cope has been accused of taking a corticosteroid to Bradley Wiggins at the 2011 Criterium du Dauphine race in France.

Cope claims he did not know what was in the bag.

Last week former Sky rider Josh Edmondson admitted he used outlawed needles to inject vitamins into his system.

Chris Froome is currently fifth on general classification in his first 'proper' stage race of the season, Volta a Catalunya, 49 seconds back on leader Tejay van Garderen of BMC with three stages to go.
