THE thrills and spills of the summer transfer window are finally here - with some huge deals already in the pipeline.

Chelsea are closing in on an incredible deal for Liam Delap and reports suggest that the move is imminent.

However, Jadon Sancho is set to return to United from Chelsea despite helping the Blues win a trophy during his loan period.

In other news, Liverpool's £110million bid for Florian Wirtz has been rejected, with Bayer Leverkusen holding out for £127m, according to reports.

  • Chelsea approach Milan for Maignan

    The summer of renovation will be heavy for Milan.

    Massimiliano Allegri has returned to the club as the new coach, Modrić reportedly moving.

    Fabrizio Romano reports that Rangers are closing in on the appointment of Russell Martin as new head coach.

    Former Southampton manager has already accepted the project, ready for new chapter, the Italian journalist says.

    Rangers have been on a lookout for a permanent manager after sacking Philippe Clement in February this year - and replacing him with Barry Ferguson as interim, with Davide Ancelotti, son of Carlo, on the shortlist.

  • Sancho set to LEAVE Chelsea

    Jadon Sancho is set to leave Chelsea when contract ends June 30 after agreement could not be reached over personal terms for loan to turn permanent, The Athletic's David Ornstein reports.

    He adds that Chelsea will pay £5 million penalty to Man United, whilst the 25 year-old winger will explore options in England/Europe for next move.

    Sancho's season-long to the Blues had a £25 millon oblogation but clause attached to it, but it was recently revalead that the deal included the afromteioned penatly, if the Blues didnt3 trigger the buy option.

    Sancho notched 5 goals and 10 assists across his time in West London.

  • Bellingham eyes Dortmund

    Jobe Bellingham wants to join Borussia Dortmund - but Sunderland are refusing to let him leave cheaply.

    Sun Sport reported earlier how the German giants were confident they would beat Frankfurt to the signing of the 19-year-old midfielder.

    Dortmund, like Frankfurt, were prepared to offer Sunderland £21million plus add-ons for the ace and are offering him the chance to play at this month’s Club World Cup.

    Supporters of Sunderland, who were last week celebrating winning the Championship play-off final, were hopeful that the lure of being the first Bellingham to play in the Premier League might help them keep the midfielder for at least one more season.

    But Dortmund director Sebastian Kehl headed to Ibiza, where Jobe is holidaying with Jude and friends, for further talks with the Bellingham family and that has swayed it for them.

    They are keen to complete the transfer in time for him to feature in the opening Club World Cup match against Brazilian giants Fluminense in New Jersey on June 17.

    Though Sunderland owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus is reluctant to lose one of Regis Le Bris' top assets.

    And although they gave the green light for the ace to have talks elsewhere, they have no intentions to let him leave unless his release clause, believed to be around £33.5m, is met.

    Ryan Mason has taken a huge step towards becoming West Brom's new boss.

    The 33-year-old is currently Ange Postecoglou's No.2 at Tottenham Hotspur.

    But he informed Spurs yesterday he doesn't want to renew his contract when it expires at the end of this month.

    And that will give the green light for West Brom to end their six-week search to find a replacement for Tony Mowbray.

    The Baggies are on the brink of appointing Mason as their new boss on a three year contract after making him their top target from the start.

    West Brom are confident the deal will be completed later this week, when the former Spurs and Hull midfielder is officially unveiled as Albion's new boss.
