Bleeding disaster
Kyren Wilson's bid for glory was derailed by a nosebleed on Thursday night.
The reigning world champion saw his match with Ding Junhui suspended for 30 minutes as he was treated by medics.
Wilson told ITV: "It was a nightmare.
"I think it was just exhaustion. I went deep in the Players Championship and then had three back-to-back exhibitions after that.
"In hindsight it is probably a good thing. It'll give me two weeks to knuckle down and get a bit of rest and get ready for the World Championships."

Higgins: 'Ronnie has earned the right to withdraw'
Ronnie O'Sullivan has earned the right to withdraw from snooker's World Championship at the 11th hour, according to long-time rival John Higgins.
Higgins hopes that the Rocket is given space to make his own decision about competing in Sheffield, having not played competitively since early January at the Championship League.
Speaking after setting up a semi-final clash with Barry Hawkins at the Tour Championship, Higgins told : "Obviously, nobody really knows. It’s been a well-kept secret.
"With how he’s feeling, who knows if he’s going to turn up or not, it’s going to be his decision.
"He’s earned that right, hasn’t he? So, we just have to wait and see."

Nor was he expected to beat Kyren Wilson but thrashed him 10-5.
In the last four, he meets Mark Selby, who hammered Neil Robertson 10-1, in what should be a great contest.

- Neil Robertson 1-10 Mark Selby (result)
Kyren Wilson 5-9 Ding Junhui (21-0)

But he's playing with the knowledge that any miss might be his last shot of the night.

A flurry of early mistakes for both is finally curtailed for Ding to push into a lead.
Kyren Wilson 4-8 Ding Junhui
Ding misses unexpectedly but Kyren can't pot a mid-ranger ... then a really poor shot leaves the world champ a chance to dish.
Even if Wilson can't come all the way back, he won't want to go to Sheffield on the back of a battering. This is a huge visit
Selby into semis
Wow! What a performance from Selby.
He wraps up the win with three straight frames after seven straight frames before the break.
He faces the winner of Wilson vs Ding on Saturday.
Fight back on?

Wilson's on the board

Meanwhile, Robertson - who battered Stuart Bingham last month - is about to bow out.
- Neil Robertson 1-9 Mark Selby (concluding session)
- Kyren Wilson 2-8 Ding Junhui (concluding session)
