Gyokeres alternative
Benjamin Sesko remains on Arsenal’s summer wishlist – but Viktor Gyokeres is their No1 target.
That’s the claim from Fichajes, who add that Sesko is very much Plan B for Arsenal should they miss out on the Swede.
The 21-year-old Slovenian has been outstanding in the Bundesliga this term, with 21 goals and six assists.
Arsenal transfer blow
Chelsea’s Todd Boehly has appeared to rule out Andrey Santos leaving this summer.
Arsenal have been eyeing up a move for the 21-year-old, who impressed on loan at Strasbourg this season.
Speaking at the Qatar Economic Forum, Boehly said: “We are laser-focused on the Club World Cup.
“We have some players that are joining us [like] Andrey Santos.
“We are really excited about him and what he can add to the squad.”
Joan future
Joan Garcia’s potential move to Arsenal could rest on Espanyol’s final game of the season.
The LaLiga club are two points above the drop zone heading into the last round of fixtures.
Should the club be relegated, the goalkeeper’s release clause would drop to just £13million.
'Rodrygo talks'
Arsenal have reportedly started talks over a move for Real Madrid's Rodrygo.
Sky Germany has claimed that behind-the-scenes discussions are ongoing.
However, it is suggested that a transfer could be "difficult".
Gunners on TOTY shortlist
Five Arsenal players have been named in the official Premier League fans’ team of the year shortlist.
David Raya, William Saliba, Gabriel, Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka are all in the running for a spot.
60 players from the top-flight have been nominated and supporters can vote for their dream XI of the season via the Prem’s .
Arsenal Rodrygo boost
Arsenal have received a boost in their hopes of signing Real Madrid star Rodrygo.
The Gunners will be able to make their move without a challenge from London rivals Chelsea.
The Blues are reportedly "not interested" in the Brazilian who could cost up to £85million to sign.
Trossard aiming to improve
Leandro Trossard has revealed he will look at what he can improve on at the end of the season.
To be fair, normally I do look at those numbers, but this season I haven’t really looked at it much.
You know roughly what you have done yourself, so I knew it would be around that figure. I prefer to look forward anyway, unless you win something. Then it’s nice to look back!
Once the season is finished I will focus on what I can do to improve. When we get into the new pre-season, as a team we will set our goals and go from there.

Keown wish he had helped
Martin Keown has also admitted that he wish he had helped Kieran Tierney more during his time at Arsenal.
He told talkSPORT: "I would like to have helped more.
"He is somebody who I could see that worth ethic that he had. That desire in his play. I think that’s been rewarded.
"It has been five or six seasons that he has been at the football club.
"It was clear that Arteta wanted to go in a different direction, and a different type of fullback to invert, and he wants to get down that line.
"In recent weeks, he has had a lot of games where he has come off the bench, and the manager could have chosen others, but he has looked to Kieran to bring on.
"That’s testament to him really. He is the sort of person you want in the building.”
Keown hint on Tierney's future
Martin Keown has suggested that Kieran Tierney could be on his way back to Celtic and leave Arsenal.
He told talkSPORT: “He (Arteta) is letting him (Tierney) go.
“I can see sense in that. But I think he can hold his head up high.
"The fans have always loved him, as they will do. It’s typical of the Arsenal fans. If you are 100 per cent. They will get right in your corner.
“I probably feel that he is going to go back to Scotland. It will probably be Celtic. His beloved Celtic. We wish him well.”

Viktor Gyokeres is still unsure over his future, according to team-mate Pedro Goncalves.
The striker is a top target for Arsenal this summer but there are multiple clubs keen on his signature.
Goncalves said: "I asked him and we all asked him.
"He says he’s not a fortune teller.
"We still have the Portuguese Cup against Benfica to play."

Jorginho could be set for an early exit from his contract at Arsenal.
The Italian is in the final months of his deal at the Emirates, with it expiring in June.
However, the Gunners are set to release him early so he can join Brazilian side Flamengo.
This means that Jorginho would be able to play in the Club World Cup.

Arsenal have been hit with yet another injury blow after William Saliba was ruled out for weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Frenchman hobbled off at half-time of the Gunners’ 1-0 Prem victory over Newcastle on Sunday in his 100th game for the club as a precaution – replaced by Riccardo Calafiori.
Boss Mikel Arteta has now confirmed Saliba pulled his hamstring and will miss their final league game of the season away at Southampton.
It is not thought to be serious, and he is expected to be fully fit and recovered by the time Arsenal head on their pre-season tour of Singapore and Hong Kong on July 19.
However, it is unlikely he will feature in France’s Nations League semi-final on June 5 against Spain.
Saliba is understood to have began his rehab at their London Colney training base on Monday, but it is uncertain whether he will travel to St Mary's this weekend.
Major Arsenal transfer advice
Jermaine Pennant suggested Real Madrid ace Rodrygo and Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams may be the "final spark" Arsenal need.
Pennant told :
[Gabriel] Martinelli’s got all the attributes. Great pace, he’s direct, he gets into great positions. But he lacks end product.
It’s the opposite of [Bukayo] Saka. He gets into great areas but just doesn’t do the right thing at the last second.
“If Arsenal can land Rodrygo or Nico Williams, it could be the final spark the team needs.
Jermaine PennantChristopher Nkunku transfer race
Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku is at the centre of a six-way transfer race ahead of the summer transfer window.
SunSport can reveal that rivals Arsenal are among those lining up a move for Nkunku.
Manchester United, who made a move for the forward during the January transfer window, are planning to go back this summer.
Liverpool also like the France international due to his versatility and previous goal record at RB Leipzig.
And West Ham, who will undergo a major rebuild, are plotting an ambitious raid of their own after ex-Chelsea boss Graham Potter identified the 27-year-old as a star target.
But there’s also strong interest from overseas, with Champions League finalists Paris Saint Germain among those to be monitoring developments.
Atletico Madrid are also interested in Nkunku, with uncertainty over the future of Liverpool-linked ex-Manchester City ace Julian Alvarez.
Arteta sack warning
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could be sacked come Christmas next season, according to Paul Merson who insists the Gunners will have to be at least second in the Premier League table before the New Year or may have to find a new manager.
That would be my worry: I think Arteta has got until Christmas. They will have to be in the top two at Christmas to keep on going.
If you get to four [seasons without any major trophies], you can’t [keep going].
People want to come to Arsenal so it’s not like they’re scratching to get players – and they’ve got the money. For me, next year he’s got to be in the top two by Christmas or they’ll go for someone else.
It’s timings. You have timings, you’ve got to make opportunities. When it’s your time, you’ve got to make it count. Look at Liverpool, they went 30 years without a title and then all of a sudden it comes around - they win trophies.
I just think they have to make it count and I think this is the last year.

Jurrien Timber blow
Arsenal star Jurrien Timber is set to undergo an ankle operation and is now in a race to be fit for the start of next season.
The hope is Timber will be in the best position to hit the ground running next term as he targets a return for the start of the Gunners’ pre-season tour of Singapore and Hong Kong from July 19.
But the versatile defender joins a long list of players on the club’s injury list.
Although Kai Havertz made his return from a hamstring injury on Sunday, Gabriel Magalhaes, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus are still out of action, while William Saliba was subbed off at half-time against Newcastle with a thigh problem.
Hot Tottenham take
Tottenham hero Micky Hazard claims his former club and under-pressure manager Ange Postecoglou will have enjoyed a better season than Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal with a win in tonight's Europa League clash.
Hazard, speaking exclusively to SunSport on behalf of , said:
Ange. Not a question of doubt. It’s staggering that someone can actually predict that — ‘In my second season I always win a trophy’ — and then pull it off.
I didn’t like what Arteta said after the PSG defeat. You’d lost over two legs and as a manager, you have to be magnanimous in defeat and congratulate the team going into the next round. He sort of left himself open a little bit.
So did Ange - he left himself very open. If he had got knocked out in the semis it would have been ‘Where’s your cup?’ But here we are in the final and getting a chance of fulfilling his prediction.
If he achieves that then wow. Has there ever been a manager, at the start of a season, who said what he did and then did it? I don’t think it’s ever happened.

Rodrygo transfer war
Real Madrid star Rodrygo remains on Arsenal's radar ahead of a "big summer" at the Emirates.
According to Fichajes, Real would consider selling the forward if they receive an offer of nearly £84million.
The Gunners are a serious contender for the Brazil international's signature.
with Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are also interested in the 24-year-old.
Ademola Lookman interest
Atalanta star Ademola Lookman has admirers at Arsenal but there are some hesitations.
Lookman’s age has the Gunners concerned over whether he has hit his peak, and if that could hinder any future sell-on plans.
The centre-forward is valued at around £50million ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Nigeria international also appears to be happy again in Italy following the Serie A giants' qualification for next season's Champions League.
Leroy Sane boost
Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane is still being linked with a move to Arsenal this summer.
Sane's contract comes to an end at the end of July, and he is unwilling to accept Bayern's fresh terms.
The Gunners could land the winger on a free transfer should he opt against renewing with the German champions.
However, the Germany international would still attract immense interest from other elite clubs if he became a free agent.
