FORMER Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu horrifically stamped on the face of striker Kieffer Moore during Wales' draw with Turkey on Friday night.

Sheffield United man Moore, 32, received the boot in the head from Turkey's Soyuncu as they tussled for the ball in the second half.

Moore lost his footing, before Soyuncu clattered into him boot first in a sickening moment.

Moore was bandaged up around his forehead and carried on playing - having only come on as a substitute in the 72nd minute.

Soyuncu, 28, who had already been booked, avoided a second yellow card for the incident.

And Wales fans were quick to share their admiration for Moore - who could be seen the following day with a mark above his eyebrow.

One said: "Kieffer Moore proving yet again that his head appears to be made out of an amalgam of tungsten, steel, chromium and titanium."

While another added: "Should add a 'KM head injury' to the bet builder."

And a third replied: "No player has spilt more blood for his country than Kieffer Moore. he's like f***** Ric Flair."

Moore has scored 12 goals in 44 appearances for The Dragons.

Wales played the last half an hour against Turkey with a man advantage as Baris Alper Yilmaz was dismissed for a second yellow card.

But they failed to find a breakthrough in Cardiff as Craig Bellamy's first game as manager ended in a stalemate.

Former Premier League star Craig Bellamy teased for 'not believing in rainbows' after bizarre interview

Speaking after the game, Bellamy said: "[The players were] outstanding. We've had a lot of work this week. There have been a lot of meetings and I am always conscious of a load of information going into the players in a short space of time.

"But they were great this week and that gives you confidence. Believe me, this is the worst we are going to be. The more we learn, the more we spend together, the finer details.

"It's such a good start, but there's way more to come from this team.

"I am not a master at this after one game, trust me. But I enjoyed it. It was a great country to play against in your first game and I am really happy."
