AN EU chief has mocked Theresa May’s dancing with a series of Abba puns about Brexit.

He responded with the names of several other of the Swedish band’s songs – adding that “breaking up is never easy, I know”.
It came after Mrs May was last night trolled by EU Parliament boss Guy Verhofstadt, who evidently missed the funny side of her light-hearted move at the Tory conference in Birmingham.
On Twitter last night he sneered: "While dancing to ABBA today, PM May overlooked the fact that Bjorn from ABBA called Brexit a 'disaster'."
He shared a link to the singer discussing why he wanted Britain to stay in the bloc, which was filmed before the referendum in 2016 where most Brits opted to leave.

But Winston Churchill's grandson Nicholas Soames was quick to hit back with a tweet saying: "#ohbuggeroff!"
Today Mr Schinas was asked by a reporter an Abba-themed question, whether he would: “Take a chance on May or is Britain facing its Waterloo?”
And he replied in kind, saying: "My my, how can I resist you. We appreciate a bit of dancing - it always takes two to tango.
“We prefer that the tune was Dancing Queen rather than the Winner Takes It All. What can I say? Breaking up is never easy, I know."
The PM’s moves did win some plaudits among the EU though, with Sweden's ambassador saying last night: "I can only say Bravo to Theresa May for starting her conference speech with ABBA's Dancing Queen."
The Tory leader went viral earlier this year after she danced with schoolchildren in South Africa - and didn't hesitate to show off her moves again as she took to the stage in Birmingham.
Sharing a meme of Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood, one joked: "I can only assume that the reason Theresa May is dancing so much recently is so that she has a shot at getting on Strictly in 2019 once she gets forced out."
