Terrified victim is squirted with water pistol full of acid as probe finds cops dealt with four acid crimes daily in the last two months of 2017

A PUPIL filled a water pistol with hydrochloric acid and squirted it at a terrified classmate.
The corrosive liquid missed the victim’s eyes by millimetres, leaving them stunned and with facial sores.
The attack, at an unnamed school in North Wales, came as a Sun on Sunday probe found cops dealt with four acid crimes a day in the last two months of 2017.Incredibly, the attacker was let off with a community resolution order, seen as less serious than a caution.
It does not result in a criminal record.
Their victim was aged 11 to 15.
Our probe found there were 253 acid-related crimes in November and December. The true total is likely to top 300 since just 38 out of the 44 UK forces replied to our freedom of information requests.
The Met in London recorded 81 incidents in the two months. It recently said that attacks had soared from 260 in 2015 to 465 in 2017.
