MOST people know the importance of grammar, spelling and punctuation - and it's perhaps most crucial to get it right on public signs.
A gallery of public signs notices misusing quote marks is sweeping the web - and it's sure to make you giggle.
One sign, outside an unknown restaurant, reads: "If you want it "on a stick" we'll do it it 'if we can'.
While another sign at a security facility reads "security guard" featuring a working fast asleep on the job.
And one particularly bizarre bakery sign says: "Day old 'bread' 99c" which has been used for "emphasis".
