Rose McGowan claims Harvey Weinstein’s ‘snake’ lawyer offered £4.5m to say ‘Harvey’s changed’

ROSE McGowan, one of the first women to publicly allege that Harvey Weinstein had raped her, says his former lawyer offered her £4.5million to say "Harvey's changed".
The actress has accused lawyer Lisa Bloom of approaching her publisher and offering her money in exchange for public support for Weinstein.
Bloom had represented Weinstein before resigning on October 7 after the scandal broke.
on Saturday night, McGowan revealed she did not sign a non-disclosure agreement after reaching a settlement with the Hollywood mogul for £75,000 after she claims he raped her at a hotel room in 1997 during the Sundance Film Festival.
She wrote:"You know what is truth, Lisa? I feel like people should know that you've been calling my literary agent and saying there'd be money for me if I got on the 'Harvey's Changed' bandwagon?
"You told her that I should care about HIS reputation. How HE has a family now and how HE has changed.
"Well, guess what? I've always had a family and that didn't stop him from assaulting me."
The Charmed star added: "When I was 23, I was hurt by the Swine. I have had a 350lb monster stuck to me for ten years."
She said up until the night before the New York Times article was published with the shocking allegations, she was offered $4.5million to "be silenced" but she refused.
She added : "I was offered one million dollars. No way. I then drove it to six million. I was warring with thoughts about being able to take case of my aunt, mum and family vs my integrity.
"But no. I could not. I walked away from a potential six million dollars. I will not be purchased. I will not be sold. Never again."
Bloom has denied McGowan's allegations saying they were "completely false".
In the statement to ., she said: "I never called Rose McGowan's literary agent. I don't even know who her agent is. I never threatened Rose McGowan, nor offered her money, nor reached out to her. This is completely false.
"I have withdrawn from my representation of Harvey Weinstein and apologised for being involved in this. I am sorry for the pain Rose McGowan is in. But this is completely false."
In the wake of the Weinstein sexual harassment scandal, The Clinton Foundation reportedly will not return the $250,000 in donations from the mogul, reported.
A spokesperson reportedly told the newspaper the organisation had spent the money on its programs and used for charitable purposes.
The alleged admission comes after The Clinton Foundation dodged questions about Weinstein’s donations until Hillary Clinton said last week she would re-gift his campaign donations to charity.
Dozens of actresses, including Hollywood A-listers Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow, have made accusations of sex abuse against the 65-year-old movie mogul over the past 10 days, prompting the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to call an emergency meeting.
In a statement they said the organisation behind the Oscars had "voted well in excess of the required two-thirds majority" to expel Weinstein.
Today, French President Emmanuel Macron says that he wants to revoke Harvey Weinstein's Legion of Honor award over in light of the accusations.
It comes as UK cops confirmed they are investigating three further sexual assault allegations in London against the movie producer.
The alleged crimes took place in London between 2010 and 2015, sources have confirmed.
A Met statement read: "On 11 October, Merseyside police referred an allegation of sexual assault to the Metropolitan Police Service.
"It is alleged that a man sexually assaulted a woman in the late 1980s in west London.
"On 14 October, further allegations were made against the same man.
"It is alleged that the man sexually assaulted a woman in Westminster in 2010 and 2011, and in Camden in 2015."
The cases involve two different victims.
The statement added: "Officers from the Met’s child abuse and sexual offences command are investigating the allegations.
"There has been no arrest at this stage."
About 40 women, many of them actresses, have levelled accusations against Weinstein, 65.
Swingers star Katherine Kendall said the naked mogul chased her round his New York flat after she rejected his advances in 1993.
Today it was revealed that Hollyoaks actor Lysette Anthony told police she was raped by Harvey Weinstein.
The British actress, 54, claims she was assaulted in the late 1980s when the film producer turned up at her house.
She told cops about the alleged incident last week after years trying to forget the “pathetic, revolting” attack.
Lysette, once hailed the Face of the Eighties by photographer David Bailey, said it left her feeling “disgusted and embarrassed”.
It was also reported that a Brit has accused shamed movie producer Harvey Weinstein of raping her in the basement of his London offices.
"Sarah Smith" - her real name withheld for legal reasons - said she was attacked by the Miramax boss when she worked for the firm in her twenties in 1992.
Weinstein, 65, insists any sexual contacts he had were consensual. His spokeswoman Sallie Hofmeister said earlier this week: "Any allegations of non-consensual sex are unequivocally denied by Mr Weinstein."
