Illawarra snake catcher Glen Peacock, from New South Wales in Australia, struggled to find a red-bellied black snake hiding in a family's garden after it killed their pet dog.
Following a lengthy search, the catcher eventually located its hiding spot before sharing an image to Facebook prompting social media users to find the dangerous reptile.

The red-bellied black serpent had made the family's garden its home after eating goldfish from the pond before making.
The distressed family from Kiama Downs, who had noticed fish in their pond kept disappearing before their dog tragically fell victim to a venomous bite, called for help.
The catcher was then able to safely remove the snake from the small opening between the rocks.

Despite the torment caused to the family, the catcher, who had been capturing snakes for just over a year, said he was glad they had used his services, enabling the snake to be relocated without any harm.
It's not the first time a hidden serpent has baffled social media users - there's a reptile hidden amongst this pile of leaves.
