MONEY IN THE BANKSY
Banksy art bought by secret collector for £4million after being stripped from walls in Liverpool
The collection was bought by a secretive Qatari

FIVE Banksy artworks have been stripped from walls and sold abroad for £4million.
The five had been destined to end up in a street art museum.
But a development company which owned the sites in Liverpool removed them after a row with the city council.
They have now been snapped up by a secretive Qatari collector.
The murals, most on plaster, were stripped intact off the walls and sealed with a varnish to let them be transported.
They included the White Rat, painted on a derelict pub in 2004, and one called Never Liked The Beatles.
Banksy’s works often fetch more than £1million but many have caused disputes over ownership.
