TRADITIONALLY, a Prime Minister’s Questions on the day of a big fiscal event gets totally overshadowed and today would have been no different but for one small moment.
Jeremy Corbyn was back to terrible best as he reverted to his tactic of reading out scripted questions from possibly fictional members of the public.
Up went the groans after a few weeks where the Leader of the Opposition had actually managed to think of his own questions.
When she is not talking about Brexit, it seems the PM finds these exchange a walk in the park.
She easily batted away the Labour chiefs scatty, shouty attempt at a mauling on Social Care issues.
His claims that the government have slashed £4.6 billion from social care budgets yet had found "space" for corporation tax cuts landed - a worthy target for concern - but one that left the Labour leader wide open.
Yes more must be done said the PM, but then why didn’t Labour do more in 13 years?
