After a trial in one area of Scotland earlier this year, more and more households are seeing rubbish collections cut to once every three or four weeks.

Many cash strapped councils have already switched from fortnightly collections to once every three weeks.
The change has been very unpopular with residents.
Last year, Fife Council in Scotland was the first to try monthly collections as part of a drive to reduce landfill waste.
In February, people in Conway, North Wales, were left outraged after their council announced it would also be testing out fewer collections. The move affected 10,000 households.
Earlier this month Falkirk Council announced it become the first UK council to roll out monthly collections for all of its 70,000 households.
A number of cash-strapped councils have also announced that they will move to three-week collections.
These include Oldham in Greater Manchester, Argyll, Bute and East Renfrewshire in Scotland, Isle of Anglesey in Wales and North Devon Council.
