BBC pulls out of talks to host Craig David show at Magaluf hotel where bikini Brit was battered
Radio 1 bosses said to have scrapped plans after shocking video emerged

THE BBC has reportedly pulled out of plans to host a Radio 1 gig starring Craig David at a the Magaluf hotel where bouncers were filmed beating up a Brit girl in a bikini and her DJ boyfriend.
Beeb bosses were said to have been considering the four-star BH Mallorca for an event this summer.
But they backed out after shocking video emerged of security guards battering Robbie Hofmann, Alex Henderson and a pal.
Robbie later said the three of them were attacked for "walking too slowly" as they left the venue.
The hotel, which is popular with Brits, plugged a Summer Stage Festival on its listings claiming there would be a “Main stage hosted by BBC Radio 1 with Craig David.”
The Beeb’s commercial team said the event was not yet confirmed but was “something that was likely to happen”, according to the .

But following the video the broadcaster said there are now no plans to take Radio 1 to Magaluf.
A source added: “The plans weren’t 100 per cent confirmed but there’s no way the BBC will use that hotel now.”
Holidaymaker Jakub Matejko, from Manchester, filmed the disturbing incident from a balcony and posted it on Facebook.
He said: “I’m so disgusted with the staff SAFE 4 u working at the BH Mallorca hotel … guards picked on a girl because she threw a plastic cup at one of them, the guy went up to her and slaps her so her boyfriend trying to protect her jump in and end up with broken head and bleeding from eyes.
“They even kicked and punched the girl afterwards as you can see on the video, this is not what should be happening at four star hotel.
“The guy was not moving, and the guards were still kicking his head in.”
Dance DJ Alex posted pictures of his injuries online, saying: “I’m extremely grateful that I don’t have brain damage or a broken face and in a few weeks I’ll be fine.”
His model girlfriend Robbie later hit out at the hotel's claims they were being disruptive and refused to leave after an event.
She wrote on Facebook: “They've done a great job of painting us in a bad light saying we were refusing to leave and throwing cups.
“Neglecting to mention that we were pushed and assaulted while walking to the exit by a man bigger than the three of us combined…BEFORE we had resisted the attack or I threw my cup in the bush next to him (not at him) which was done out of my pure shock.
“We were only there to DJ and watch our friends headline a UKhardcore event.
“We at no point behaved like disrespectful yobs which was how we were treated when apparently walking too slowly towards the exit."
The hotel has said it is working with police investigating the incident.
