Rare Aston Martin drop-top made famous by James Bond in the 1980s to sell for £320,000
Despite being almost 30 years old, this limited edition Vantage V8 has covered less than 41,000 miles. And it's the same model made famous by James Bond in The Living Daylights

A LIMITED edition Aston Martin convertible - labelled as Britain's very first supercar has emerged for sale - with an incredible £320,000 price tag.
The 1989 V8 Vantage Volante X-Pack was just one of 30 made by the British brand - and was made even more famous thanks to its appearance as James Bond's ride in The Living Daylights.
The Vantage Volante marked the return of the luxury British car maker to the 007 films after the amphibious Lotus Esprit in the 1970s.
And while this specific car being offered by Historics Auctions never starred in a Bond film, it still comes with all the bells and whistles of a true action hero's motor.
When it was first built, the Vantage Volante could go from 0-60mph in just 5.3 seconds, a tenth of a second quicker than its main supercar competitor, the Ferrari Daytona.
This particular model has changed hands a number of times but has been with its current owner since 1996.
During that time it's been in the UK and the Costa Del Sol.
Despite being almost 30 years old, the Aston still has a top speed of 170mph and has only covered 40,600 miles.
The car is said to be in stunning condition, with pristine Chichester blue bodywork with well-polished chrome trim as well as a blue folding sunroof.
It also has a blue metal grill at the front and two striking exhaust pipes at the rear.
The interior is a perfectly maintained cream leather, and a blue leather steering wheel and dashboard.
Matt Priddy, a specialist with the auction house, said: "This is a fantastic car, it really is.
"The vendor is a UK-based businessman who has had it for a number of years.
"Until recently he owned a restaurant in Spain and he really could enjoy the car a lot more over there.
More classic motors for sale
"It's a great car, probably the last great hand-built Aston there was and the only word to describe its performance would be 'savage'.
"It's in fantastic condition and will be a brilliant buy for someone."
The motor is due to go under the hammer at Ascot Racecourse on March 3.
