‘Switchcraft saved me £143 a year after my husband suffered a stroke’
Sheila Messenger, 69, from West Bromwich, said the saving she made with Switchcraft was a 'lifesaver' after her husband Terry, 68, suffered a stroke six weeks ago and was forced to stop working.

SHEILA Messenger, 69, from West Bromwich, signed up to a free service that helped her save an impressive £143 a year.
Sheila said the saving she made with was a “lifesaver” after her husband Terry, 68, suffered a stroke six weeks ago and was forced to stop working.
Switchcraft takes two minutes to sign up for and is a free service that does all the work when it comes to slashing your energy bill.
It works by automatically switching your provider when your fixed deal finishes and emailing you details of your new energy plan.
The service helped Sheila save much-needed dosh by switching her old fixed-term energy contract with Scottish Power to a new variable plan with So Energy.
She did not pay an exit fee, as her old plan was running out.
Sheila said: “My husband was an HGV lorry driver and when he retired he missed it so much, he joined an agency and did a couple of days a week, which topped his pension and gave us a few treats.
What is Switchcraft and how do I sign up?

Switchcraft is a FREE automatic switching service that could save households on average £219 a year on their gas and electricity bills.
The service scours the market for the right deal that works for you and could save you money by automatically swapping you on a cheaper tariff when your current one is up.
The idea behind the service is to encourage the 16million Brits who are overpaying for their energy after rolling on to a standard variable tariff when their deal comes to an end.

She added: “I loved the ease in which it was all done. The whole thing was really quick and very easy to use.”
