The new Peperami is in shops now

Classic Beef is flavoured with taste bud-tingling onion, pepper and garlic - but sausage fans may have already spotted it in the shops.

The meaty snack was actually introduced last year but they are making a bit of a song and dance about it being available now that they know it's here to stay.

  1. Win A Caravan
  2. Pick up two FREE tickets to Chessington AND Alton Towers
  3. Win a Beach Hut
  4. Sort out your Hols from £9.50 if you missed out first time round

It's that simple!

It will set you back 79p for a single stick and £1.59 for a multi-pack of three.

That's slightly more than its original pork salami sausage, worth 75p for one or £2.75 for a pack of five at Tesco.

Advertised as "gluten-free" and "high in protein", Peperami is hoping the newest addition will be a hit with fans looking for healthier snacks on-the-go.

It even claims it could be the perfect meaty treat for those "in need of a protein fix after the gym".

In 2016, Peperami snacks were banned from the Wimbledon tennis tournament over fears they might damage the sporting event's image.

IS NOTHING SAFE? Now Peperami and Doritos get smaller but the price stays the same as shrinkflation hits snacks

It's worth noting that the brand's popular sausages were trimmed down by 2.5g last year but the price remained the same.

The lighter meaty snack hit the shelves at the end of March last year.

If you're looking for quality meats at a bargain price, this month Aldi permanently slashed the prices of its posh steaks - with some cuts now available for less than £4.
Morrisons has also gained popularity for its meaty deals.

In October, the supermarket, which committed to sell British-only fresh meat, sold a meat box with almost 2kg of meat for just £10.
