Shoppers go wild for new Whispering Angel dupe spotted in bargain chain and it’s 79% less than the real thing
A NEW Whispering Angel dupe has landed at a bargain retailer, and it's 79% less than the real deal.
The budget-friendly alternative is a hit with shoppers who have been raving about the taste.
Whispering Angel was recently hailed 'the world's most glamorous rosé', but with magnums costing up to £44.50 you may be excited to discover a cheaper alternative.
It's the flagship wine of Château d’Esclans, a vineyard north of Saint Tropez, France.
After exploding onto the market, it became a celebrity favourite - including among the Beckhams.
Its surge in popularity has also resulted in a selection of tasty dupes flying off the shelves across various retailers.

Whispering Angel comes in two sizes: magnum (1.5 litres) and a bottle (75cl).
Home Bargains has entered the chat with its own magnum-size dupe with a price tag of just £8.99.
The beautiful pink-and-white patterned bottles cost just £8.99 - that's a huge saving of £33.01 per bottle.
One savvy shopper shared a photo of the fizz on Facebook page.

"They had it in the Chesterfield Home Bargains. I did buy a bottle. Very nice. 8% so not too strong. A nice sparkling rosé," a fellow customer wrote.
"It's pretty sweet but nice," another wrote.
A third chimed: "I'd buy that just for the pretty bottle."
One commenter did point out that Whispering Angel is not a sparkling wine and questioned whether they really did taste the same.
Whilst some dupes are just as good as the real thing, it's worth pointing out that you get what you pay for.
If you want a tipple that's pretty and nearly as good as Whispering Angel but you don't want to fork out £45 - this is a great option.

Aldi: Chassaux et Fils Sainte Victoire Provence
The budget supermarket’s new blushed beverage is a dupe of the posh wine at just £12.49 for 75cl.
“We have something that will 'tipple' your fancy,” Aldi’s social media team shared on Instagram.
“Our new Sainte Victoire Provence Rosé is the perfect summertime drink - just chill and enjoy!”
Wine lovers flocked to the comments to beam that the new booze had a very similar vibe to Whispering Angel.
“I’ll have 10 bottles please,” one gushed.
Another said they “bet it tastes the same” as its pricey inspiration.
Whispering Angel's 75cl bottles are around £22, making a saving of £10.
Lidl: Exquise Grenache Rosé
A wine influencer, known as Affordable Wine Hunter on Instagram, tracked down a bottle that he believes is the perfect contender for Whispering Angel.
Real name Andy Pincott said: “I’m a big fan of this Exquise Grenache Rosé. It has been around for a while.
“It’s a great Provence style and is only £7.49.”
The prestigious bottle has aromatic tasting notes with fresh and ripe fruit woven in - very similar to the fine floral and fruity character of the viral £22 Whispering Angel rosé.
That means getting your fruity fix at Lidl can save you a cool £14.51.
M&S: La Balconne Organic Provence Rosé
The high street retailer's large selection of refreshing wines for the warmer season just got even better with the brand new .
TV wine and drinks expert Andy Clarke tasted against Whispering Angel and was blown away by the difference in quality.
He said: “I’ve tasted hundreds of rosés over the years and it’s always so exciting to find a new one that whizzes straight to the top of my list!
“Having this delicious organic Provence on the shelves is extremely exciting for spring and summer sipping, and it’s a must-try for anyone who loves those summery aromas of strawberries and fresh herbs.
