MCDONALD’s will axe five items from its menu in days in its latest shake-up.
Fans will need to say goodbye to a popular meal, two burgers, dessert and McFlurry as part of the change.

Among the items being axed on May 6 is the Minecraft Meal, which fans described as the first McDonald’s “adult Happy Meal”.
The meal was available from March 26 and features one of six exclusive collectable toys, which were crafted especially for adults.
It costs £8.19 but the Happy Meal version will set you back £3.99.
Also leaving the menu is the popular Mars McFlurry.

The treat is made with dairy ice cream which is swirled with crunchy chocolate-covered nougat and topped with a caramel sauce.
It costs £2.19 for the regular size or £1.69 for the mini version.
Meanwhile, two popular burgers will also be axed in days.
The Philly Cheese Stack is made with two Irish beef burgers layered with cheese sauce, a cheese slice, grilled and crispy onions and pickles.

The McCrispy® BBQ Smokehouse was also popular with McDonald’s fans.
The limited-edition burger is made with chicken breast in a crispy coating with a BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion and lettuce.
It is served in a sourdough-style sesame topped bun.
It costs £5.79 as a single item, or £7.49 with a meal.
How to save at McDonald's
You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.
Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.
You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald's receipts.
The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.
You'll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.
The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.
You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.
The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details - otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.
Also leaving the menu is the Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, which was launched just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The tasty treat originally appeared on menus in February 2024 and costs just £1.99.
It comes with a fluffy pink pastry and is filled with raspberry compote and a white chocolate ganache.
It is not uncommon for the fast-food giant to change what is sold across its restaurants to make way for new items.
Menus are often updated every few months in line with big events such as Easter or Christmas.
Just because an item is discontinued does not mean it is gone for good.
McDonald’s new menu
McDonald’s is set to launch two new items, while four favourites make a return to menus.
From May 7 customers will be able to get their hands on the new Frank’s Red Hot Mayo dip and Frozen Cherry Lemonade.

The Red Hot Mayo has a creamy, tangy and fiery flavour that goes perfectly with a Sausage and Egg McMuffin or Chicken Selects.
It will cost just 50p, making it perfect to spice up your midweek meal.
Fans have also shared their excitement for the Frozen Cherry Lemonade, which will be ideal for the warmer months.
It is made with tangy frozen lemonade and a deliciously sweet cherry flavoured swirl.
It will set you back £2.99.
Plus, the Biscoff McFlurry, Biscoff Frape, McSpicy x Frank’s Red Hot and Steakhouse Stack are returning to menus.
Fans were wowed by the Biscoff McFlurry and Biscoff Frape when they first appeared on the McDonald’s menu.
The Biscoff McFlurry features a Biscoff biscuit crumb which is swirled onto the soft serve ice cream.
Meanwhile, the Biscoff Frappe has a vanilla flavour base which is blended with ice and a Biscoff biscuit crumb.
It is topped with caramel flavoured cream and a delicious Biscoff biscuit crumb.
The Frappe costs £3.09 while the McFlurry will set you back £2.29.
Or you can get the mini version for just £1.69.
Burger fans will be thrilled to see the return of the Steakhouse Stack next month.
The meal costs £5.99 and is made with two British and Irish beef patties, topped with cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions and fresh lettuce.
It is drizzled with a savory black peppercorn sauce and is served in a toasted and glazed sesame bun.
Meanwhile, the McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot will also be back in restaurants from May 7.
The chicken breast has a hot and crispy coating and is topped with crunchy lettuce, cheese made with Emmental, jalapenos and onions.
It is topped with Frank’s RedHot Mayo and is served in a toasted sesame seed bun.
The burger will set you back £5.99, or £7.99 as part of a Medium Meal.
How to save money at McDonald’s
Did you know that you can end up being charged more based on which branch of McDonald’s you choose to eat at?
There can be up to a 30p price difference in a Big Mac meal at restaurants which are just two miles away from each other, The Sun previously found.
