A MAJOR UK supermarket has slashed the price of its award-winning Champagne to under £10 for Easter - but shoppers will need to be quick.

Aldi is offering the bargain booze for £9.99 until April 19, meaning shoppers have just days to get their fix.

A bottle of Nicolas de Montbart Champagne, which combines Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, is usually priced in stores for £13.99.

It means Aldi customers will save £4 on the fizz if they grab it before the Easter weekend.

Aldi has the booze achieved silver accolades at both the International Wine Challenge and The Drinks Business Champagne Masters.

It comes as the supermarket slashes prices on its alcohol aisle, with 50 percent off still wines too.

A bottle of New Zealand Marlborough Pinot Noir has been reduced from £9.69 to £4.99.

Meanwhile, Aldi's Pouilly Fuissé, is down from £19.99 to £14.99.

The bargain promo will be available in-store until April 27 - but shoppers will need to act fast as it's only on offer while stocks last.

Shoppers have been racing to get their hands on free Cadbury Mini Eggs from a major high street chain.

Three Mobile customers on its Three+ loyalty scheme can avail of the cracking deal via the firm's app.

It means savers can get 80g bags of Mini Eggs or 110g Mini Egg Chocolate Blocks ahead of Easter from WHSmith shops.

To do so, customers need to open a rewards code via app and scan it at tills in-store.

These free chocolates are available from WHSmith high street, hospital, railway and motorway service station branches.

However, you won't be able to get the freebies at outlet, Books by WHSmith at Selfridges, Harrods, Arnotts & Fenwicks, garden centre stores or via the WHSmith website.

Stock is limited and the offer runs until just April 21 - so you'll need to be quick.

One customer posted:  "Got mine thanks. Two bags of Mini Eggs and Two Chocolate Bars."

Another chipped in: "Brilliant. Thanks for posting. Hubby's with Three so will look tomorrow."

Aldi's Champagne and Wine reductions at Easter

Aldi is slashing prices on customer prices just in time for Easter.

Here are the Champagne and still wine deals on offer for shoppers:

  • Aldi’s Nicolas de Montbart Champagne (Was £13.99 now £9.99) - available in store until April 19/
  • Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Was £19.99 now £9.99) - available in store until April 20
  • New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (Was £8.99 now £4.99) - available in store until April 20
  • Specially Selected Cairanne (Was £8.99 now £4.99) - available in store until April 20
  • Pouilly Fuissé (Was £19.99 now £14.99) - available in store until April 20
  • Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC (Was £5.39 now £4.69) - available in store until April 23
  • New Zealand Marlborough Pinot Noir (Was £9.69 now £4.99)

Elsewhere, Asda announced a cracking deal where shoppers can buy any large branded Easter Egg for just £2.32.

This replaces the previous offer of four selected eggs for £11.96 (equating to £2.99 per egg), resulting in a saving of 67p per egg.

The reduction applies to 20 eggs overall, including popular choices from CadburyNestle and Mars.

Prices will remain at £2.32 until Monday, April 21.
