Some shoppers even claim the bar was "nicer and creamier" than Cadbury's alternative.

Disappointed customers took to Facebook group Aldi Shoppers UK to share their frustration, with one posting: "Has Aldi stopped doing this chocolate bar? It’s our favourite."

One fan commented: "I like their chocolate better than the branded ones."

Another added: "Our favourite too, both that and the crispy, not been in our store for 3 weeks now."

After checking with store staff, one customer confirmed that a manager at their local Aldi revealed the bar had indeed been discontinued.

Even employees were reportedly surprised by the decision.

This isn't the first time Aldi has disappointed chocolate lovers by discontinuing popular treats.

Aldi recently discontinued the popular Moser Roth Vegan Blond Chocolate, a fan favourite from their Moser Roth range.

This white organic cocoa bar, made with rice powder and almond paste, came in 100g bars priced at £1.49 each.

Despite being praised as "the best chocolate ever," a spokesperson has apologised once again for any disappointment caused.

Aldi has also previously pulled other beloved items, such as their Salted Caramel Teabags, Very Berry Muesli, and the Village Bakery Seeded Medium Sliced Loaf, all of which sparked backlash from loyal customers.

Shoppers were also upset to learn that Aldi had stopped selling their frozen lemon and lime slices, as well as the coconut-flavored Dairyfine Spirals, which were similar to Kinder Bueno.

Aldi has not yet provided an official comment on the decision.
