‘Britain’s cheapest home’ in picturesque village could be yours for just £1 – but would you put in an offer?

BRITAIN'S cheapest three-bedroom bungalow in a picturesque village could be yours for just £1.
However, it has been put under the hammer due to a series of large cracks around the bungalow in the village of Merlin's Bridge, near Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
The property has significant structural damage, with large cracks appearing throughout, especially at the front right corner and in the garden.
The estate agent handling the auction states that the home has "suffered structural damage due to adverse ground conditions" and will require a comprehensive renovation or possibly even a complete rebuild.
For developers or those with the necessary resources, this could be an opportunity to take on a challenging but potentially rewarding project.
Inside, the bungalow offers three bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen.

However, one prospective buyer pointed out that the most concerning damage is visible from the outside, raising questions about what could be lurking beneath the surface.
The auction for the property will close on March 12, and only cash buyers are eligible, as securing a standard mortgage for this kind of property would be difficult.
This isn’t the only £1 property on the market.
In New Milton, Hampshire, another home is up for grabs at the same price.

Despite its three bedrooms, large bay windows, and stunning views over a bowling green, the property also requires substantial renovation.
The house, split into two units, includes features like a timber-style floor, a small private garden, and a garage.
But like the Welsh bungalow, it’s being sold as a redevelopment project for those willing to invest time and money into restoring it.
