KIDS already spend hours and hours in front of computer and TV screens, but with the growth of virtual reality gaming, it could be about to get a whole lot worse.
At the Tokyo Game Show held in Makuhari, video game enthusiasts got the chance to be the latest to try out virtual reality headsets, the future of gaming.
The headsets are the latest piece of tech to be released by the gaming giant PlayStation.
When fitted on the face, they completely obscure all aspects of the real world.
Players are absorbed into the games, that can often be considered very violent.
Virtual reality is currently the best way to feel like you're really in the game.
However, the state-of-the-art kit doesn't come cheap.
Just one these headsets could set you back more than £300.

Instead children may sit alone immersed inside a video game.
Although many other brands have previously released virtual reality headsets, the PlayStation version is groundbreaking as it is the first to be compatible with the PS4.
Previously, the headsets could only be used with bulky, specially-designed gaming computers.
Kids and adults alike will be able to get their hands on one of these space-like headsets from 13th October this year.
PlayStation expect there to be more than 50 games compatible with the new software within just one year, meaning that in less than a decade virtual reality could easily be a normal part of daily life.
