HAVING a wardrobe fail is one thing, experiencing one on LIVE TV is quite another.
Unfortunately that's exactly what happened to poor old Joel Mellin this week.
Joel is a weather presenter on SVT, the biggest national TV network in Sweden. Well, if you're going to do something you might as well do it properly.
He was on screen delivering the weather report as usual on Tuesday, showing the country the fine weather which was to come.
We're talking warm highs of about 25 degrees, but it seems Joel was already in the mood to cool off.
Yep, the poor guy gave the whole of his report with his flies completely open.
Although undoubtedly a mortifying moment, Joel took it with good grace.
"I realised it immediately afterwards," he told Aftonbladet, according to The Independent.
"I didn't have time to look at the video to see if it was true, but then I got a phone call confirming it, and the news anchor told me that I hadn't pulled up the zipper.
I just thought, 'Oops.' It was quite amusing, actually."
Oops indeed.
RELATED STORIES:
Joel's wardrobe malfunction wasn't immediately visible because he was facing the TV camera straight on.
But as soon as he turned to gesture towards the weather map, a telltale scrap of pale shirt poked out from his zip.
So what was the reason for the unfortunate incident?
Well, given the heatwave we've been experiencing it's one we can all relate to.
Before going on screen Joel had been chilling out in shorts and T-shirt because it was so hot.
Obviously that look isn't befitting of a weather presenter though, so he changed into his trousers, jacket, shirt and tie ensemble before his slot.
It looks like he'd better give himself a bit longer to get ready in future.
Don't worry though Joel, things could have been much worse, just ask Margot Robbie.
