The ‘flamboyant’ B&M buy that’ll turn your garden into a colourful paradise, and it’ll cost you less than a tenner too

Apparently the trees are perfect for a smaller garden thanks to its diminutive sizes

IF your garden is in need of some colour, you should head to your local B&M sharpish.

As the high street store has one of the most "flamboyant" trees around on sale for just £10 each.

One shopper took to the group on Facebook to share a snap of the flamingo trees in the store.

"£10 Salix flamingo trees in Wrexham B&M," they wrote.

Someone else posted a picture of their flamingo tree in full bloom, as they said: "Eight years ago mine started off like one of these.

"They are lovely trees - I have 3, this one is my biggest."

"Just got my 2 plants today, good deal," another added.

"I've just got 1 today - got the smaller 1 last year, bought the bigger 1 today," someone else said.

"Only the big stores with the garden centres have them," another commented.

"Got mine yesterday," someone else raved.

"Mission for the weekend - find a B&M with one of these!" another wrote.

"I'm having one this year," someone else vowed.

While others used the comments section to share their gardening advice, and questions. 

"These are thirsty trees, need to be watered daily," one warned.

"When you plant this do you take the fur thing off which is under the soil? I know it's a silly question," someone else asked.

To which another replied: "I took mine off one of mine last year... it died.

"I replaced it yesterday and the lady told me to leave on as protects from frost."

According to , the Salix flamingo trees are perfect for adding a "splash of colour" to the garden, and are perfect if you've got a smaller green space thanks to their compact size.

"This Salix is at its best from March until May, a subtle yet powerful explosion of colour to keep your eye on," they said, adding that as Autumn approaches, it changes to show off "fantastic warm orange tones... continuing the ultimate display".

It's said to grow to around 2 metres high, and also spreads to approximately two metres as well.
