Lidl is selling a gardening gadget for £57 less than the Bosch version – it’s perfect for lawns and hedges

Lidl is providing a cost-effective way to do this, selling a valuable garden gadget for less than half the price of Bosch.

With a from Lidl, lawn edges can be tidied up, as well as hedges shaped.

This is a 2-in-1 grass and hedge trimmer, selling for just £9.99 from Lidl, which is also better than regular prices for the product at £12.99.

Alternatively, Bosch are selling their Li-Ion Cordless Grass & Shrub Shear for £57 more at £66.99, that also serves as a multi-functional tool.

Despite being higher in price, reviews on the product from Bosch suggest it does not deliver on higher quality.

With an overall rating of 3.5 stars, customers have recognised some faults of the Bosch tool in their review: "Nice tool and does the job but battery life is awful on the one I got and it always sounds as if it's struggling."

Other DIY'ers are concerned about its strength: "Just bought it, initially thought it's well built, not sure about power."

Another added: "Only downside is the power doesn't last for long which is a great pity."

The Lidl alternative can therefore provide the same tool for cheaper, and more powerful with a 4V/2Ah Li-Ion battery rather than Bosch's 3.6V/1.5Ah.

The battery is said to be able to last for 55-60 minutes, with a one metre USB-C charging cable included in the accessories, as well as blade guard for the grass trimmer and hedge trimmer blade.

Furthermore, it is described as an "easy-to-operate trimmer" with a tool-free click system for switching blades.

This useful product removes the need to buy separate appliances for trimming the lawn and bushes, helping the garden stay neat and tidy.

It is among a range of budget garden gadgets provided by Lidl that shoppers can turn to instead of more high-end brands.

They are also selling a Parkside Robot Lawnmower available for just £199 rather than Bosch's £609 version of a .

This gadget is useful cutting larger areas of grass in the garden, which allows 500 square-metres of lawn to be mowed.
