If that wasn’t enough, Katie also claimed that caravan life is much cheaper than the typical route of buying a home, as she stressed that she paid just one quarter of what first-time buyers have to fork out.

Posting on social media, the mother, who sold her former house for £195,000 and is based in West Wales, got candid on what living in a caravan is really like.

She shared a short clip showing off the gorgeous view from her home, which she uploaded with the caption ‘On a deeper level though… THIS is why I love caravan living. Mental wellbeing I put at the top as an absolute priority for me and my family. F**k the rules if they’re draining my brain. My life, and I’m gonna live it.’

The content creator, who previously opened up on what it’s like to live on a caravan site during the summer holidays, then said: “If you asked me about what living in a caravan is really like, I’d say it’s peaceful, cheaper, good for my brain and liberating.”

But moments later, Katie added: “If you asked me a on a deeper level…”

To this, Katie confirmed: “I get time to switch off from the world and people, I am always on holiday and free to roam wherever I want.”

Not only this, but Katie also explained: “I am mortgage free and live by the beach for ¼ of the price I’d pay if I was a first time buyer.”

Katie confirmed that she pays just £650 for her caravan, including bills.

She also pays £3,500 a year for site fees.

As a result of her low costs, Katie beamed: “Hell yeah I’d recommend it.”
