A LUSH superfan was left stunned when she tried out the store's new Minecraft bath bomb, with some unfortunate consequences.

After splashing out on the £3.75 TNT Block bath bomb, she was excited to pop it into her bath for a relaxing soak.

But when she dropped it into the water, she quickly realised she'd made something of a mistake.

The red colour of the bomb came out immediately as it hit the water, with splashes of the hue covering her walls.

"I obviously thought the only logical way to use this bath bomb was to drop it in and watch it explode all over my bathroom," she said in a on her TikTok page.

"Honestly don't know what I was expecting from a bright red bath bomb, but here we are."

She admitted she was "slightly distracted" from the bath bomb thanks to the state of her "tiles, walls, floor and everywhere else the explosion hit".

"I think I could say as a whole this isn't the most aesthetically pleasing bath bomb," she added.

"But I have no one else to blame but myself!"

The bath bomb contains a "calming fragrance of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage" alongside "the sounds of crackling popping candy", according to the Lush website.

And it definitely "smells nice", the woman said, praising the calming effect which helped to ease her "mind and stress about the state of the bathroom".

After the bath, she managed to get the red stains off her hands, but was forced to give the bathroom a "very deep clean".

"Safe to say this did what it was supposed to do!" she captioned the video.

The comments section was almost immediately filled with people comparing the bath time scene to a scary film, noting that the red water looked just like it was filled with blood.

"It's giving Dexter's wife!" one laughed.

"Saw bathroom core," another added.

"This is quite scary," a third commented.

To which the woman replied: "Like something out of a horror movie!"

Others were more concerned about whether or not she managed to return her bathroom to its white state.

"Just taking the TNT one out of the box stained all my hands," one wrote.

"Can’t imagine how you’re getting on with cleaning it hahaha!"

"It was like paint holding it wasn’t it," she replied.

"It came off my tiles okay but my wall it stained."
