Olivia Attwood and ex Chris Hughes in furious Twitter war after Chris reveals he’s been sent death threats over new reality show

OLIVIA Attwood and ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes became embroiled in Twitter war today after he revealed he's been sent death threats over their reality show Crackin' On.

Chris, 25, claims Olivia, 26, encouraged online hate towards him after the couple called it quits after seven months together.

Taking to Instagram, Chris showed fans that he has been inundated with vile messages telling him "to jump in front of a bus" from some viewers.

He wrote: "One reason I always came home, was to avoid toxic shit, I never ran away, that was me making sure I always remembered who I was,

"I never changed and never will, but having emotion is a natural feeling, I've always had.

"Death threats from 40 minutes of television, being told to jump in front of a bus and hang myself, sums up the naivety of so many hateful people."

Chris continued: "Ignored it for a few days now, but actually receiving death threats through social media this week off the back of an edited reality TV show is quite disturbing.

"Having people who were once in your life encouraging hate is also concerning and disturbing but life goes on.

"Bitterness is nasty, hate is cruel.

"Focus on your own lives everyone."

Many took Chris's post to mean that Olivia was encouraging the backlash he was getting.

But hitting back on Twitter, Olivia wrote: "Just for the record I have never and would never encourage online hate, toward anyone, as I have been on the receiving end of that myself.

"Must be a strange adjustment, to not have someone else to blame for absolutely everything."

In a now deleted tweet, Chris wrote: "Don't start a war behind someone's back, and not expect them to speak up.

"Someone was quick to unlike those tweets about me being emotionally abusive, a bully etc for sticking up for myself in a 40 minute edited tv show.

"We were once best friends, nasty how things change people."

Responding again, Olivia said:"The desperation Chris please leave me and my family alone. Especially my 18 year old brother, we are all bored of you and the trouble you have caused."

"As if it's only midday on Monday, holy frick balls. Is it too early for a glass of wine?"

Chris has since retweeted several messages from fans replying to Olivia's tweets.

One person wrote: "When you like tweets of people tweeting a guy you once dated accusing him of bullying you on tv that is very dis respectful and that is encouraging hate. "

"It's disgusting as the reality show is reality for a reason!"

Another added: "So liking nasty tweets about him is not encouraging online hate? Girl you’re so bitter, did you see Chris liking all the online hate you receive? Last week you was saying how you was so in love with him what's changed?"

It comes after the pair split last month after she sent messages to ex Bradley Dack and Chris’s rival ‘Muggy’ Mike Thalassitis.
Their break up was the latest in a string of controversies surrounding their relationship.

In December, Olivia revealed the pair split temporarily after Chris was videoed getting close to a mystery woman in a nightclub.

And he rowed with Katie Price for months last year over flirty messages they sent to each other.
