Tommy Mallet wells up as Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde ask him to be their baby’s Godfather
Reality star wiped away tears as he accepted the offer on tonight's episode
TOMMY Mallet struggled to hold back his tears when Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde asked him to be their baby’s Godfather in tonight’s Towie.
Fans of the hit ITVBE show were touched by the sweet moment, which saw Tommy accept their offer.

Sitting in a restaurant with his girlfriend Georgia Kousoulou, the pair looked bemused as Nathan told them he need to speak to them about something important.
Nathan said: “What I was going to say was, I think you are quite someone to look up to and you have been my best pal for years.
“So I’m going to ask you as a favour for me, will you be our baby’s Godfather?”
Welling up, Tommy replied: “I’m going to cry, I swear down. I’m not even joking!”

Cara laughed and shouted: “We’ve melted Mallet!”
As Tommy accepted their request, he said: “Of course! When have I never done something for you?
“Thank you! No one has ever asked me. Thank you!”
Fans of the show loved the emotional moment, with one tweeting: “Tommy is the cutest. He had me actually in tears watching his reaction to being asked to be god parent!”

Tommy later shared a picture of himself holding the frame.

He captioned the snap: “Honoured to be asked by one of my best mates I grew [up] with to be [his] baby's Godfather!
“He's gonna have some serious shoe game from day one!”

The couple, who split shortly after Cara, 26, discovered she was pregnant, will also finally open up their relationship status after keeping fans guessing over the last few weeks.
A Towie insider said: “Cara and Nathan remain popular with fans so there’s a big demand to have them back.
“They’ve kept a low profile recently so it’s a great way to update everyone on their situation and whether or not they’ll get back together.”
