Love Island’s Alex Beattie slams ex Montana Brown for lying about their relationship and begs her to stop ‘playing with my feelings’

ALEX Beattie has lashed out at his ex-girlfriend Montana Brown for lying about their relationship.
Earlier this month, the Love Island star told her fans she would “never say never” to getting back with Alex and even suggested they spoke regularly – something he insists isn't true.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, Alex asked to set the record straight on their upsetting split and admitted the once loved up couple haven’t spoken in weeks.
Alex said: “Montana said we talk regularly but we haven't spoken in a month. I don't know where it came from.
“She said 'never say never' about us but that was news to me! She must be texting the wrong number!
“I would never get back with her. It's over! If went back to the way it was, it wouldn't be healthy anyway.”
After Montana’s comments were published, Alex confronted her and now says he wants her to stop playing with his emotions.
He explained: “I was hurt when she said that about us possibly getting back together. I sent the link to her and said, 'why are you doing this?'
“She played dumb and said she didn't know what was going on.
“I want her to stop playing with my feelings and to stop talking about me. She knows how I felt about her and how much I cared. I find it hard to talk about.

“She made me single, so now I am. I've got no pressure now and I can just focus on myself and do the best I can.”
The Sun exclusively revealed the couple – who found love in this year’s series of the show – had split just weeks after leaving the house.
At the time, insiders revealed Montana’s lust for the limelight drove them apart.
Alex agreed he wished she would have worked harder at making their romance stand the test of time.
He said: “I had super strong feelings for her in the villa and when we came out. I was gutted when she ended it, I wasn't expecting it.
“It was more her, I was willing to fight. I was going to cancel PAs but she's a strong woman, she wanted to do her own thing.
“I expected her to give it more of a chance or to fight for it more. It was so intense in there and to come out and for it to be nothing - that was hard.”
Since the pair broke up, Montana has been linked to Snoop Dogg’s son while Alex enjoyed a brief romance with their former Love Island co-star Chyna Ellis.
But now he insists he’s single and is open to finding love again.
Alex said: “I'm open to a relationship but I'm just seeing what comes along. I'm not in a rush.”
