Strictly star James Jordan says he ‘doesn’t feel safe’ in the UK and ‘worries about what’s to come’ in shock statement
JAMES Jordan has admitted he "doesn't feel safe in the UK" amid fears over "what's to come" for the future of the country.
The Strictly Come Dancing alumni and dad of one, 45, made his frank comments on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Yet after a backlash - particularly centred around James' Polish-born wife and fellow ex BBC star Ola, 41 - he was forced to clarify his views.
James, known for his no-frills comments over Strictly's scores and partnerships, has now turned his attention to the issue of illegal migration in the UK.
The Government recently announced an annual cap on refugee numbers to protect vital services as well as attempting to tackle the issue of migrants arriving on small boats.
On his social media page James wrote: "We have to change our immigration laws as our amazing country is being destroyed by many of these people entering.

"I don’t feel safe anymore for my family and worry about what’s to come if we don’t do something now."
James then urged fans: "RT if you agree."
Popstar Bryan McFadden took a light-hearted approach and replied: "Absolutely. Way too many Irish!!!!!!!"
Yet one fan was clearly angered and wrote: "This blanket, divisive, statement from someone whose wife seemingly benefited from immigration possibilities is shockingly disappointing. Unfollowing."

James, unbothered by the remark, clapped back: "See ya."
Another commented: "Sad tweet James, I love Ola, but surely she emigrated to the UK and maybe didn’t come by boat, but has built a life here with you - I am confused."
In a later message, James added clarity to his remarks.
He wrote: "Maybe I should have made myself more clear - I’m talking about illegal immigration and the ones putting a drain on our society and preaching their religions in our streets and shouting death to Britain
"I’m happy for anyone to come here and work and better themselves.
"All the lefties getting upset.
"Press the unfollow button if you don’t like the truth!
My wife is Polish and all for multiculturalism but when people come to this country to claim from our society and commit hate crimes I say send the f***ers back. End of."
James is no stranger to controversial comments.
He was recently forced to defend himself after making remarks about wife Ola's three stone weight gain, weight which she has since lost.
He left some people outraged when he confessed he preferred his wife "smaller".
After receiving backlash, James has insisted he stands by his initial comments.
He said: "Hang on one second, you're not allowed to be honest today in this world.

"There's no man, let me tell you ladies out there, there's no man in the world who will say, 'Oh no, I much prefer my wife being much bigger and heavier'. There's no man, they don't exist."
Speaking to the , James added: "They might tell you, 'Oh you look lovely darling' but would they prefer you slimmer? Yes they would. That's just a fact, I'm just telling you that every single man 100 per cent feels that way."
