Strictly Come Dancing 2022 RECAP: Fury as fan favourite dumped despite scoring over 30 points during Blackpool special
STRICTLY Come Dancing fans were left furious after Tyler West and Diane Buswell were dumped from the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
On Saturday's edition of Strictly, DJ and singer turned in the performance of the night, dancing a Couple's Choice to a megamix and scoring the first 40 alongside her partner Vito.
Molly and Carlos were the first couple to be voted for the dance-off and were shortly joined by and - but the former were voted off.
One irate fan posted on Twitter: "That was the most outrageous decision in the history of the competition! Tyler was so much better than Molly!!!! I'm completely dumbfounded by what I've just witnessed, Anton is the only sensible person on the panel!!!!!!
Speaking about the show, Tyler West said his experience on Strictly Come Dancing gave him confidence and a "new-found family" as he became the eighth contestant to leave the show after a competitive weekend in .
Strictly returns to BBC One on Saturday night at 7.15pm.

Injury forced Tony Adams to leave
Tony Adams had to make the difficult decision to leave the show after he had to withdraw because of an injury.
His routine on November 12 was branded as a "disaster" by fans and the Strictly judges weren't impressed either.
The high-energy dance also caused the ex-football to sustain a serious injury, meaning he had to withdraw.
Speaking about his time on the show, Tony said: "It’s been emotional guys, I cried for the first month. I came in here with one message, if you’ve got an issue with mental health then please don’t suffer in silence and reach out for help.
"Little did I know that I was going to learn a lot about myself in the process. I thought this ‘journey’ rubbish was nonsense, but my god the rollercoaster of emotion. I’ve got to be honest, it’s tough, physically it’s really tough out there, but dancing is really fantastic for you."

Why does Strictly go to Blackpool?
Blackpool first featured in the show in 2004.
From 2009 to 2013, Blackpool became a regular because every November, Children in Need temporarily needed the studio at the BBC Television Centre for its annual fundraising.
The Centre closed in 2013, however, Strictly decided to still keep making their way up to Blackpool.
The tower is nicknamed the "home of ballroom dancing" and it is more than suitable for the show.

Is there hope for Strictly in the Palace?
Strictly Come Dancing previously had plans to host an episode in Buckingham Palace's ballroom.
However, these plan were quickly dropped.
But hopes now have reignited as a palace source told The Sun: "That is still on the table and a clear indication of how ambitiously they are thinking.”
It comes after this source said that King Charles wants to make the Palace more "inclusive" for the public.
How Strictly helped Molly Rainford
Molly Rainford is the youngest celeb in this year's Strictly, however, she explained how the show helped her to grow from a girl into a woman.
She said: "Strictly is definitely bringing out a different side in me, but it was tricky not feeling awkward about being that sensual and feminine.
"Of course, it was important that this dance was more than a sexy rumba — we also wanted to show this romantic story and the passionate side of us.
"But it was great to show the adult side of me and not just be the kid of the competition."
