I’ll never apologise to Real Housewives pal for calling her a **** – I meant every word, says Lauren Simon
LAUREN Simon has been faced with most people’s worst nightmares on the current series of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire – after her ex-boyfriend Mason and his wife Katie Alice joined the show.
To make matters worse, Mason is the best pal of Lauren’s ex-husband Paul.
In a recent episode of the hit ITV2 series, Lauren, 46, was seen calling Katie, 32, a “****” during a ferocious row.
And in an exclusive interview with The Sun Online, mum-of-two Lauren made it clear she didn’t regret her words.
Lauren said: “I am not very good at saying sorry. When I called her a **** I meant it. And I wasn’t going to apologise at all.
“I believed in what I said.”
She added: “Mason coming in with Katie really affected me emotionally. It reminded me of my ex-husband Paul because my ex-husband and Mason are best friends.

“And I went out with Mason from the age of 18 to the age of 21.
“I don’t think the audience really understand the dynamic because we couldn’t talk about Paul too much.
“For me we have continued to be friends but when Mason and Katie got married Paul was best man at their wedding three years ago
“For me it’s like they chose a side and that side wasn’t mine.”

Despite their on-screen bust up, Lauren said she has made amends with Katie but revealed Mason was finding it harder to forgive.
Her decision to reach out to her to patch things up happened after Lauren admitted she didn’t want Katie to feel isolated on the cast’s filmed trip to Malta, which will air soon.
She said: “I thought, ‘How could I allow a girl on her first series to come away to Malta with all the upset and worry?’
“I felt mean.
“I sent her a message and said to draw a line under it and she was so ladylike and so becoming and said yes, you will see all of it.
“I would not want to put somebody through that. I meant what I said but she is a sweet girl.
"I have no issue that she married Mason, I am pleased for him that he got to have a child he adores and he adores Katie.
“It was my issue with my ex-husband I couldn’t get over. It was my issue
“We are really friendly now and we get on. Mason hasn’t got over what I have said to him on the show but he will have to.”
Lauren, who last year launched a perfume for dogs, also revealed that fans of RHOC are in for a treat as she brings her business on screen.
The businesswoman launched her Lauren Stone Number One perfume in 2016 and it proved to be a roaring success.
Last year she released a version for dogs so owners could match their scents with their furry companions.
Lauren said: “We do a dog competition on the show to find a new face for the Lauren Stone – I am like the Simon Cowell of the dog world.
“For me my main thing is now, I am divorced, I am working and I am showing my children you have to be a boss b****.

“I want to show my girls there is life after death and that you do not need a man for money.
“I wasn’t independently wealthy, I was married to a wealthy man and I had to ask. I don’t want that for my girls.”
