There's one seaside watering hole, which has views of the beach and punters can even quench their thirst inside a cave.

The Tempest Inn in Brighton is located within a stone's throw of Brighton Beach.

Located right on the seafront, the Brighton boozer has a sea-facing terrace, with wooden tables and strings of fairy lights.

The pub's biggest draw is on the inside where customers will be able to drink at a lantern-lit table inside a cave.

On the pub's ground floor, there are several individual cave areas, where punters can book a table.

The small, low-lit, caves look like they wouldn't go amiss in a taverna in the Med.

For those punters who want to make sure they're seated in one of the cave booths, they can be booked in advance.

Events are held throughout the year, including DJ sets, which run on most Saturdays.

The Tempest Inn can also be rented out as a wedding venue.

A statement on the pub's website, says: "Located in Brighton, the cave-like interiors and textured walls of the bar exude a cosy atmosphere and the exposed brickwork provides a versatile backdrop to any wedding day."

In the winter, the pub serves Yorkshire pudding wraps as well as a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The Tempest Inn has been praised by visitors on TripAdvisor, with a score of 4/5 stars from more than 350 reviews.

One person wrote: "One of a kind seafront venue."

Another person added: "The inside is very funky, it looks like the kind of cave you'd dream of being shipwrecked in."

Someone else said: "Also loved the little cave booths on the inside, we'd never seen that anywhere before."

While a fourth person added: "One of the best venues I have visited in Brighton! Such friendly staff and a great selection of drinks."

The Tempest Inn is an eight-minute walk from Brighton Pier - one of the seaside city's top attractions.

Brighton Palace Pier first opened in 1899, and it is now a Grade II listed pleasure pier.

There are plenty of rides and attractions at the pier too, including a carousel, a turbo coaster, trampolines and a Helter Skelter.

The pier is also home to traditional arcade games as well as more modern attractions like virtual reality games.

In addition to Brighton Palace Pier, the seaside city is home to plenty of other attractions, including the Royal Pavilion.

The former royal residence was constructed by King George IV who had hired Henry Holland to transform his Brighton getaway into a modest villa.

The villa, which became known as the Marine Pavilion, was lavishly decorated with hand-painted Chinese wallpapers and colourful carpets.

In the years after King George IV's death, other monarchs also stayed at the Royal Pavilion, including Queen Victoria.

Entry into the Royal Pavilion costs £18.00 for a full-paying adult and £11 for a child.

Brighton is a one-hour train ride away from central London, or a two-hour drive in the car.
