  • Luke out

Former BDO world champion Steve Beaton believes Luke Littler and Luke Humphries are going up against each other too often.

The World No1 and No2 clashed again in a classic encounter on Thursday.

He said: "I know they sell it out all the time.

"It was nice to see Luke and Luke play each other, but almost every week they’re playing each other.

"There’s too much of [the same] players playing each other. If that’s how they want to do it, that’s how they want to do it."

  • MVG struggles

It was another night to forget for out-of-form Michael van Gerwen in Aberdeen.

And his Dutch colleague Vincent van der Voort believes the three-time world champion is just "hoping for the best".

He told the Darts Draait Door podcast: "When I see how things are going, the belief just isn’t there.

"[Van Gerwen's presence is lacking, there’s no aggression or passion in his game.

"It’s just about throwing at the board and hoping for the best."

  • Gezzy record

Gerwyn Price hit a stunning nine-darter to set a new Premier League Darts record.

The Welshman threw the perfect leg in a 6-4 first round defeat to Stephen Bunting on night 15 in Aberdeen.

  • Bunting doppelganger

A Stephen Bunting lookalike received an unexpected serenading by Rangers fans over the weekend.

Premier League star Bunting has become a cult figure in and out of the sport, in no small part thanks to his epic oche walk.

And the steward was happy to sing along to David Guetta's Titanium during the Gers 3-1 win over Dundee United.

  • As it stands

Luke Littler has sealed top spot after his win last night over Luke Humphries.

The Nuke will be joined by Humphries and Gerwyn Price in the top four.

But the last remaining place remains up for grabs after Nathan Aspinall took the nightly win on Thursday in Aberdeen.

  • England's 'dream team'

Both Luke Littler and Luke Humphries have signed up for the World Cup of Darts.

The World No. 1 and No. 2 will represent England next month in Germany.

Referencing the pairing on Instagram, reigning world champion Littler wrote: "Dream team confirmed."

  • No F-Luke

Darts fans hailed the "best match ever" after Luke Littler beat Luke Humphries 6-3 in a blur of FOURTEEN 180s.

Littler averaged 116 and Humphries 110 in their "staggering" Premier League Night 15 opener.

  • Price is right

It was another night to remember for Gezzy Price.

The Welshman has already booked his place in the playoffs and looked to be having fun at the oche in Aberdeen.

Price hit a nine darter despite going down to Stephen Bunting in the quarter finals.

He told tournament sponsors BetMGM: "Another loss with a nine-darter, so it’s bittersweet.

"I’m happy to hit it but I had chances in that game to win as well – it would have been a bit better if I won the match as well.

"I’ll aim to get another one [nine-darter] next week as well, then I’ll get one in London too."

  • Stand and deliver

It was another strong night for Luke Littler in Aberdeen.

The Nuke beat Luke Humphries with a stunning quarter-final performance to guarantee top spot in the Premier League standings.

With just one more night to go before the O2, Littler is in the driving seat to retain his crown.

  • Mike drop

Michael van Gerwen remains without a night win in the 2025 Premier League.

And the seven-time champ is in serious danger of missing out on the play-offs for only the second time.

Mighty Mike's only absence from the finals since his debut season in 2013 came in 2020 when he finished sixth in the table.

"I've put one foot in the finals. I play Michael [van Gerwen] again next week and the pressure is on him.

"It's a do or die game. I save myself three hours of misery if I can beat him at 8pm, I'm going to the O2 which is a dream of mine.

    "It's in my hands."

  • Price Is Right

Gerwyn Price hit a stunning nine-darter to set a new Premier League Darts record.

The Welshman threw the perfect leg in a 6-4 first round defeat to Stephen Bunting on night 15 in Aberdeen.

Price was 5-3 down when he landed the fifth nine-darter of his Premier League career and second this year.

The Iceman celebrated by letting out one of his trademark roars and flexing his muscles to the crowd.

There was an acknowledgement from a smiling Bunting as they fist bumped.

  • Huge week ahead

Good morning darts fans - what a night last night turned out to be!

Littler vs Humphries produced some utterly outrageous numbers, with Humphries hitting 9x180s and a 110 average - and still LOSING.

Gerwyn Price knocked in his second 9-darter of the Premier League season when losing to Stephen Bunting.

And Nathan Aspinall catapulted himself into the top four with a week to go by winning the night.

It all comes down to next week, with Aspinall in the 02 if MVG doesn't win the night overall.

    Next week

    • Luke Littler vs Stephen Bunting
    • Nathan Aspinall vs Michael van Gerwen
    • Luke Humphries vs Rob Cross
    • Gerwyn Price vs Chris Dobey
  • Prize money

A look at the prize money after Nathan Aspinall bagged another £10,000 for winning his second night of the Premier League.

It might appear that the tournament is over for some players but there is quite a big jump in winnings depending on where you finish!

    • Winner - £275,000
    • Runner-up - £125,000
    • Semi-finalists (x2) - £85,000
    • Fifth place - £75,000
    • Sixth place - £70,000
    • Seventh place - £65,000
    • Eighth place - £60,0000
  • Premier League table

Here is that Premier League table with Luke Littler confirmed as finishing on top of the pile.

Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price are also already qualified, with Nathan Aspinall and Michael van Gerwen going head-to-head for that fourth spot.

A big night too for Chris Dobey, who moves clear of the wooden spoon race….

  • Ridiculous standard

Darts fans hailed the "best match ever" after Luke Littler beat Luke Humphries 6-3 in a blur of FOURTEEN 180s.

Littler averaged 116 and Humphries 110 in their "staggering" Premier League Night 15 opener.

And commentator Wayne Mardle exclaimed "even they're finding it funny" - as the world's two finest players left viewers awed.

Humphries produced the biggest smile of all - ironically when he fell victim to the most brutal leg of all.

The pair were level at 3-3 when they whipped Mardle into a frenzy by trading three 180s... before Littler checked out on 144 - and grinned.

The Sky Sports pundit raved: "Are you're kidding me! Are you're kidding me! This is an absolute joke."

  • Golden Gezzy

Amongst all the excitement over the top four and latest Luke vs Luke battle, Gerwyn Price chucked in a 9-darter against Stephen Bunting.

He'd go on to lose the game but given he's already qualified, it's unlikely he'll care too much.

That's his second of this Premier League season and sees him collect another set of £30,000 gold darts from sponsors, BetMGM.

Price said: “Another loss with a nine-darter so it’s bittersweet. I’m happy to hit it but I had chances in that game to win as well – it would have been a bit better if I won the match as well.

“Yeah I’ll aim to get another one [nine-darter] next week as well, then I’ll get one in London too. It’ll be well worth playing in this BetMGM Premier League then won’t it?”

Brand Director at , Dan Towse, said: “The standard of darts this BetMGM Premier League season is right up there with the best we’ve seen and remarkably Gerwyn Price’s nine-darter in Aberdeen this evening means we’ve now seen five this year!

“Of course, he receives another set of 18ct gold darts and while we’ve got only two weeks of action left, you can’t rule it out happening again!”

  • All smiles

A delighted Nathan Aspinall collecting his trophy.

  • 'Beating Michael was big'

The Asp continued: "That was a big game after beating Michael, and I've not played amazing tonight, but what I've done tonight is I've been composed. I've not celebrated, I've kept myself in the moment.

"When things aren't going well, the crowd have helped me by cheering my name, and there's been a couple of legs where I've been a bit rubbish at the finishing, but apart from that, I think my finishing's been pretty bang-on tonight."

  • 'Composed tonight'

Nathan Aspinall said tonight was a new night after 'bottling it' last week.

He told : "I felt really confident coming into tonight. Obviously, last week I should have beaten Littler, and I’m not afraid to admit I bottled it last week, I knew the importance of it, but tonight's a new night.

"I knew I've had the better of Michael [Van Gerwen] over the last few weeks, and I thought I was really composed in that game against Michael.

"Fair play to Michael after the game, he went: ‘Your finishing was fantastic,’ and then I thought it really meant nothing unless I won my next game. If I won my next game, he has to make the final [next week]."

  • Those final fixtures

  • Huge evening for The Asp

He came into this penultimate night of league action a point outside the top four.

He goes into the final week next week FOUR POINTS ahead of Michael van Gerwen in fifth!

That means Nathan Aspinall will be in the 02 play-offs unless Michael van Gerwen wins the entire night next week.

And the pair will meet in the quarter finals next week too, which adds extra spice....

  • Nathan Aspinall wins in Aberdeen!
