Man Utd Prem fixtures RELEASED, club want Frenkie de Jong, Pogba ‘finalising Juventus contract’ – transfer news live

MANCHESTER UNITED host Brighton before travelling to Brentford in their first two Premier League games of the new season.

Meanwhile, the club want to sign Christian Eriksen ALONG WITH Frenkie de Jong, rather than instead of the Barcelona ace.

It is widely reported that United have offered a contract to the Denmark and former Spurs star, though Tottenham are themselves also interested.

United are also looking to agree a fee with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong, who has said he is in no hurry to leave as his current club is "the biggest in the world".

And goalkeeper Dean Henderson could complete a £20m summer switch to Nottingham Forest.

Meanwhile Paul Pogba is said to be putting the finishing touches on his return to Juventus.

    His wife, Coleen, shared a snap of the Rams boss, 36, and their four sons at Atlantis Dolphin Bay in Dubai.

    They were seen stroking a dolphin while son Klay, nine, got a peck from one at the £150-a-head attraction.

    Peter Kempl-Hardy, at World Animal Protection, said the family had been misled.

    He added: “Unfortunately, the industry is profiting billions from keeping dolphins in barren, concrete tanks 200,000 times smaller than their natural space.”

  • Man United get Eriksen boost

    Man United have received a transfer boost in their pursuit of Christian Eriksen.

    Eriksen's been linked with a number of clubs including Tottenham and United with his Brentford contract expiring this summer.

    Brentford are keen on keeping hold of the midfielder, but he's decided to leave the club, according to 90min.

    Man United's home kit for the 2022-23 season has been leaked on social media.

    But it has received some mixed reactions from fans.

    Adidas have introduced a white collar with red triangles to the strip and black stripes running across the shoulders.

    There has also been a slight change to the badge, with a frame surrounding it.

    Some United fans have fallen in love with the new design, and have taken to  to share their thoughts.

    One said: "I am definitely getting this."

    Paris Saint-Germain planned to get rid of Mauricio Pochettino as early as last autumn, and were reportedly hoping Man Utd would make it easier for them.

    The Parisians reportedly owe the Argentine and his coaching staff £17m in compensation after announcing his sacking.

    But the claims that they were hoping Man Utd would hire him as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's replacement following the dismissal of the Norwegian.

    United instead opted for Ralf Rangnick as interim manager before hiring Erik ten Hag.

    Nemanja Matic is officialy an AS Roma player.

    The 33-year-old Serb, who was released by Man Utd, has been snapped up by former Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho for the THIRD time.

    Roma have competed the signing of Nemanja Matic on a free transfer from Manchester United.

    Matic, 33, has penned a one-year deal that will expire in June 2023.

    During his first interview with the club he hinted that he made the switch in order to reunite with Jose Mourinho, who lured him to Old Trafford in 2017.

    He said: “I am pleased and honoured to be joining this club and I cannot wait to start the new season with my teammates.

    Roma is a big club, with amazing fans and a coach, Jose Mourinho, who is well known to everyone – making the decision to come here very straightforward.

    “I hope that by working together we are able to achieve some great things.”

    Serie A side Roma have confirmed the signing of Nemanja Matic on a free transfer.

    The Serbian joins the Italians following the expiry of his contract at Manchester United.

    David Beckham was spotted holding his daughter Harper's ahead of a theatre event in Venice on Monday night.

    Harper, 10, entered the Fenice theatre alongside her famous dad wearing a £1,600 ball gown.

    Manchester United legend David, 47, also showed up in smart attire as he rocked a black suit for the occasion.

    And the father-daughter pair shared a loving moment as they smiled at each other before heading in for the show.

    Beckham's three other children - Brooklyn, 21, Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17 - were not spotted at the event.

    And  states that it is being advised by investment specialist Michael Klein and US law firm Weil, Gotshal and Manges.

    Current Everton owner Farhad Moshiri values the club at over £500m, which takes into account their debt.

    This report claims that “heads of terms have been signed” although talks are still at a “relatively early stage”.

    And the consortium could demand that they get some guarantees should the Premier League club get a points deduction or large fine over Financial Fair Play issues.
