Shocking vid shows murder suspect with BULLET lodged in his head after being shot during ‘deadly knife rampage’

A MURDER suspect has ended up with a bullet lodged in his head after he was shot during an alleged knife rampage.
Shocking footage showed Antônio Neles Gomes de Abreu with the projectile on his forehead - looking like a black dot on video - as cops led him away.

Police were called to the scene in the early hours of Thursday after reports of a murder and an attempted murder.
Witnesses told how a blazing row had broken out at a petrol station convenience store in Santa Luzia do Pará in northern Brazil.
At the height of the heated discussion, De Abreu had allegedly stabbed victim João Itamar Alves da Silva in the stomach, killing him instantly.
In retaliation, another man, identified as Luiz Fernando Andrade, had pulled a firearm and shot De Abreu.

A snap taken at the scene shows De Abreu with a bullet lodged in his forehead.
Video also appeared to show him trying to drink beer as he moved towards a bottle on a table with his hands cuffed behind his back.
It is believed the bullet failed to penetrate his skull because the cartridge had likely been stored in a cold place, cooling the powder.
This would have then reduced the bullet's speed when the trigger was pulled.

Some reports say De Abreu was also shot in the groin.

He was taken to hospital under police guard.
Once discharged, he will be locked up and charged with Da Silva’s murder.
Andrade, who fled the scene and was still being hunted at the time of reporting, will be charged with the attempted murder of De Abreu.
Local police say De Abreu and his alleged victim had a long-running dispute.
Elsewhere in the state of Pará, a bodybuilder was shot dead by two gunmen on a motorbike on his way home from a football match.
Roberto Silva de Souza, 26, who had previously fought off two armed robbers, was killed in the town of Belém.
Roberto, who was studying nutrition, was approached by two men on a motorcycle who fired several shots, witnesses reported.

The bodybuilder, who financed his studies by working as a private security guard, was a local bodybuilding champion, winning the Mister Para 2023 and Mister Presenca Para 2021/2022.
Roberto died at the scene in the Sacramenta neighbourhood on August 28.
