Ramona Cruz-Peters () shared the gardening tip in a viral TikTok video.

"Small space gardening tip! I'm going to show you how easy it is to make a hanging potted herb garden," she said.

"This is a great solution for apartment gardening, for renters who need a non-permanent gardening solution, or if you just don't have a lot of space."

Ramona headed off to the supply store, where she picked out a trellis that fit her space and personal style.

She added that a pro tip is to pick one with a wide base to avoid it tipping over.

Next, she picked up planters with built-in hangers.

Though Ramona opted for ones from Ikea, any planters with hangers will do.

A may be a good choice for the occasion.

"If your pots don't have drainage holes, be sure to punch them in the bottom with a hammer and nail," she said.

Back at home, she leaned her trellis against a vacant wall, potted her herbs in the new planters, added label tags, and hung the pots on the trellis.
